We arrived in Felixstowe this morning after a three-hour ride, reaching the Convent of Jesus and Mary in time for a lunch of chicken and chips. The girls were warmly introduced to our gracious hosts, Sister Joan, the convent’s Superior, and Carol, who helps manage the house. After settling into their rooms, they quickly made friends with Snowy, Teddy, and Scamp, the sisters’ friendly dogs.
